Check the piston ring

If you want to check the piston ring you have to insert the ring into the cylinder and adjust it using the piston as the picture.

thickness gauge check the gap of ring, the max gap is 0.40mm (for ktm exc 125 my 2003)

If you want you can polish the top of piston.

    ciao, per il 06 non saprei dirti, ma sul manuale del 02 dice 0,40mm, penso che rimanga la stessa anche nei 06 ma non posso dirtelo con certezza….
